We are just about ready to release our new project, "Everything's Fine", in the next few weeks. We are putting the finishing touches on it as this is written. We thank God for all of our prayer, ministry, financial and shovel partners. All of you deserve a special place in God's Heaven for all you do!

Shirley's latest blood tests came back AWESOME! Her liver enzymes are just 1 point above normal! We praise God for that report. Continue to pray for my nephew, Chris, as he is running as hard and fast as he can from the Lord. Shirley is still booking speaking engagements and is getting quite a few, even into next year! If you would like to have Shirley come and share what God has done for her, give her a call at (513) 217-0692, or e-mail her at shirley@the-profitts.com to schedule.  She is also accepting appointments for her motivational speaking as well.
 
Jim is also booking and scheduling speaking engagements as well as concerts and churches for 2009, 2010 and beyond. We plan as if we are going to be here forever, but we live as if each day is our last.
 
Both Jim and Shirley are highly sought for these engagements, so be sure to schedule yours early!

 
Today's Bible verse comes from Psalm 30:12 - "To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.  O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever." (KJV)

Too many times we fall silent when we think and reflect about what God has done for us.  The Word tells us that we are to 'make a joyful noise' to the LORD.  The Psalmist makes no bones about it in the above text....that any glory we may have, it comes from the thanks and praise that we give our redeemer.
 
Much has been made of the raising of hands during worship.  It is true that the Word tells us to 'lift up holy hands' to the LORD.  This is in relationship with Who He Is and what He has done.  But we can also 'lift a hand' testifying of knowing PERSONALLY, that we have experienced PERSONALLY what God has done for us.
 
This year during Thanksgiving holiday season don't just praise Him for Who He is and what He has done, but testify and thank Him out of a PERSONAL knowledge and experience of the Grace of our LORD!  Don't fall silent but be exuberant about telling others of what God has done for you.

Shirley and I would like to thank Pastor Phil Moon and the congregation at the Franklin First Church of God, Pastor Roy Shepherd and the congregation at The Sacred Dwelling Place, Pastor Mike Calhoun and the congregation the Troy First Church of God, and a host of others.  Sue C. for allowing us the use of her motor home to fulfill our dates while our Suburban was in the shop for repairs.  Pat D. and Jenny B. for sitting with Shirley's mom while we were away.  All the Southern Aires Quartet - Dall, Naomi, Duane, Darrell and Wanda, for their help and encouragement.  You will never know until eternity how much you are appreciated.
