The Profitts are an established husband and wife ministry team consisting of Jim and Shirley Profitt.  Jim is an ordained minister of the Church of God, has pastored for 17 years and is currently serving as an evangelist.  Shirley is an inspirational songwriter/singer and a motivational speaker at many women’s  conferences.  They  have been  privileged to minister

in song and word all across America as well as internationally.  Their goal is to see more people come to the knowledge of Christ and to see Christians draw closer to God.  They are proud to be in the Chapel Valley Music Family on the Sanctuary label.
 
They were nominated in the top 5 category for Duet of the Year at Southern Gospel Music FanFair 2007, 2008 and 2009. They were also nominated to the top 5 category for Duet of the Year for the 2007 Diamond Awards at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY and the top 2 category for Duet of the Year at the West Georgia Gospel Music Convention at Dallas, GA.  Jim has also been listed in “Who’s Who Encyclopedia of Evangelism” for 2007.
